Joanna Casey graduated in 2013 with a BA in Fine Art Photography at the University of Gloucestershire in Cheltenham, UK.
From 2010-12 she participated in 'The Street Photography Now Project' initiated by The Photographers Gallery on Flickr. Apart from street photography and travel photography, she also enjoys photographing animals, flowers, and the natural world.
She is currently experimenting with a variety of medium format film cameras.
Awards and Exhibitions: 2013 October: A Self-Portrait in Waste. A group show called 'Delve' at The Leyden Gallery, Spitalfields, London
2012 July: One Day in Town. An exhibition put on by Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum. Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, documenting the town in 2011.

2011 July: "Fringes: Images from the Street" A group show consisting of street photographers from the SPNP project on Flickr which was one of the fringe exhibitions for the first London Street Photography Festival. The Blackline Tattoo Parlour, Brixton, London.
